this set-up looks like a great compilation from years of adventure cycling, best of luck this year, you deserve to finally bag this beast!

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see a cook kit in there.  Are you eating no-cook foods?  How far apart are resupply points?

I really like your setup - well, except for the fixie part.  Dunno if I'm man enough to ride a fixie off road...

What is the type, brand, of the fork cages that he is using?  I thought he said tulsa adventure cage but I cant find anything about them.  They look really nice and I could see them being very useful.

Good luck and I hope you complete the journey!

Now, did you finally get your bike?

You're the 2nd person who had issues with bike delivery on Greyhound!  angry4

Get your bike, get to it, and don't let it get to you.  Just keep that image of arriving at the Banff Hotel in your mind!

And, after you complete the TD and the temps get back to normal, I'll come up from Vegas, bring you one of you're favorite bottles and we'll do an relaxed trip around the Hurricane/St George area!

P.S.

Don't knock the L22, it's the same camera I use!

Dave, sorry to hear about the issues with Greyhound.  Whenever you do the ride, i'll be following you in awe of the ride.  Best luck.

Dave, very nice set up... Hope you get your chance to give it a go in 2012.
? Are you carrying a iPhone and a kindle? If you are why not carry just the phone with iBooks on it and leave the bigger kindle home?
