Fargo tire recommendation

Looking for new tires for my Fargo. Not racing on it but will be covering distance. Typical terrain is dry hardpack and asphalt (high desert in Utah). What would you recommend? I'm currently running an Ardent up front and Ikon rear. Ardent is a bit too much, especially for the road. I like the Ikons so maybe Ikon front and back?

For me, you've been on what I'd consider tires for a full sus trail bike. I'm over doing it for what I typically ride on my Fargo and I have conti xking F and raceking R, both 2.2. I'd look into WTB nanos or the new teravail sparwoods.

I'll echo Attaboy's recommendation.
I've been running WTB Nanos for the last year and a half and they ride and wear very well. 90% of what I ride is gravel/rocky road.
When I go ride the TD route in mid June, I'll be switching over to the Teraval Sparwood tires. My LBS has broughnt in other Teravail tires and they were quite impressed with them. One thing though, Teravail is proud of their tires. The Sparwood comes in 2 varieties. One has better sidewalls.

WTB Nine Line 2.0s.
Fast rolling, but with plenty of traction. And they are great set up tubeless.

Conti Race King Protection 2.2. Lowest rolling resistance of the gravel grinding TD type tires IMO. Lasts a long time handles well and tough against punctures.

Thank you, gents. I found some Nano Raptors for a great price, so I will try those out first. I'll come back to the other tires if these don't work out.
