Hey man - glad you made it. I'm the guy who was running rim-to-rim and stopped for a very brief chat while you were on your way up the North Kaibab. I knew right away you were doing the AZT. Nice blog & pics. In hindsight, it's rather funny that you were hassled at the North Rim after trudging rim-to-rim and bending over backwards to follow the rules. Oh well, I suppose it's the better than the GC being some sort of free-enterprise free-for-all, trashed & plundered.
Congrats on a truly epic journey.

Great work, congrats on the thru-bike of the AZT! Thanks for the post and link. It sounds like you used Andrea Lankford's route (the very old guidebook)?
You are the 6th person to carry a bike across the canyon. Awesome. Interesting to hear the part of the rangers hassling you. They need to get used to the idea of AZT rider/racers hiking all night, so I am glad to hear it all turned out OK.
Best of luck on the rest of your trip, sounds very ambitious...
