Finally left the shop behind for a weekend and got out for a short, but fun, overnight dirt road trip in Utah - what I call a micro-tour.  I'd love to go for a month of touring, but as busy as my life is lately single-overnighters are often what I can get.  Still a good time and a way to reset a little.  Took some photos along the way; if you're interested, you can check 'em here:

Nice Joey!  Just got back from a tour in AZ myself...so good to be out bikepacking.  Got to try out my Nemo.  I really liked it although I felt getting in and out was kind of awkward.  The nemo will definitely be my go-to shelter for racing...though I'm still intrigued with the tarptent moment or some other tent for more leisurly trips.  Want to sell your Moment ?

Thanks guys!  Aaron, I've realized that the Moment is perfect for a skinny couple bikepacking together.  It's palatial for one, a little crowded for two, but it works.  Still haven't used it for two in inclement weather, which could be interesting... I'm looking forward to trying out the Nemo on a solo trip soon.

JRA, it is awesome country out there.  Even though this was just a dirt road tour, it was really beautiful and engaging.  I love that within a three hour drive of our house we can be in some of the most beautiful desert in the world... and we live just south of some of the most beautiful mountains.
