Where do you keep the adult libations?  I really hope you have a cozy little spot for those.

Ha!  BOOZE - highest alcohol to weight ratio that you can handle.  Wild Turkey 101 is my preferred adult libation on trips right now.  It goes in the flask (#15) above.  It's funny, I'll usually carry two or three but I thought that would be absurd for the pictures.

Perfect!  I didn't even see the flask.  You are on top of it.  Nice setup.  Are you carrying any spare parts for the bike?  I saw a couple of tools, but maybe I missed the parts?

I need to get a spare derailleur hanger and bolt but that's about it for the quick overnighters that I have time for these days. What spare parts should I consider?

I also realized I forgot my headlamp and TP.

Here's what I carry: http://tobygadd.blogspot.com/2012/08/2012-colorado-trail-race-gear.html

Seems like a long list, which it is--but most of the items are small and lightweight.

Suggested improvements:  get rid of the lighter fluid, the bungees (not sure what purpose they serve), some of the spare clothes, spare fuel canister, rain tarp, pillow, one of the tubes, spoke wrench, and the utility cord.

With the weight and space you save bring that extra flask or two.  icon_biggrin

Two thumbs up for the geeking out you did to document this.  We can all relate.  thumbsup
