Another good video, thank you.  I am not sure how far these trails are from you but they look great.  Completely different to what I am familiar with.  I'd like to make the haul over there to see your cool countryside.

Your videos are therapy and reminders for me and my personal conundrum in regards to what a bikepacking experience should entail.  I am struggling to change my thinking about how high the adventure level needs to be for a worthy overnight trip.  With all the different high caliber adventures available here in Colorado - high alititude treeline trails, alpine tundra and snow field crossings, multiple pass loops with spectacular views - the standard requirements for a trip, even a short one, are pretty high.  We are spoiled here.  A lot. It's hard to get inspired to ride from the house to a nearby watershed or State park when that experience is compared to what is out there.  But most of those more adventurous trips require a drive to the trailhead, which really cuts into the S24O time frame. And for someone with so little free time it's hard to justify the bigger trips and it doesn't make sense to waste the time a local overnighter if it's like sleeping in the backyard. So I am working on my appreciation for my local surroundings and the opportunities they offer.

Thanks. I'd like to have your problem of having really good adventure terrain close. I have to go Norway or the north of Finland or Sweden to get to some real mountains. All equally far away (about 20 hours with train/bus/car), which means that I could manage two one week trips per year at the most, with family and work limiting it. I do however have fairly nice trails and and could basically ride an entire day in some fairly wilderness like places with some short road sections in between directly from my backyard. Most of the clips in the video are quite close to where I live.

With the right timing even a simple overnighter within more ordinary surroundings still gives a lot. Sleeping under the stars and the moon enjoying a nice sunrise is still a worthy experience.

Agreed - just getting out is what is all about. The littlest amount of escape from the daily routine helps a lot. I wasn't trying to brag about my location.  In fact it is almost a tease to have it so close yet still so inaccesable.

Any way thanks for keeping those videos coming.
