man i have had problems as well. i had to open my pics in preview, export them to pictures, reduce the quality to its lowest and then reduce the size just to post. as far as the viewing of pics - i have only had a few issues here and there, it might be my fault for loading pics that are too large for the site's specifications...

Did you do the caprock canyons trailway or just ride in the park? Curious about what you did (trip length, water sources, etc)

i just rode around the park honestly. i spoke with the rangers though about the trailway and their only advice was "ya get out there and ya need slime in your wheels and liners on the inside and outside of the tubes...i'm tired of helpin' y'all crazy bikers..." we had a good laugh about some of the stories they told us. apparently just before we got there 3 dudes came off the trailway after 25 miles and gave up - lots of sharp rock, goat heads(?), pinch flats etc...
as far as water went there is a small river (occasional flash flooding) called the little red river where the resourceful can load up on water. i brought my katahdin base camp gravity filter since i knew we would just be riding around and camping in the two primitive areas, weight was no biggy. i filled it half way up, hung it from a tree and went riding - it did the work. being a state park though - water is available in several areas.
