Just had a rather spiffing idea; I do a fair bit of night riding, my commute is along dark country lanes and I ride at night when I bikepack at times but I can't see what gear I'm in if I don't have a head torch so I thought about putting glow in the dark powder on my shifters. You can buy it cheap off ebay, mix it up with epoxy or with a clear lacquer and Robert's your Mother's brother!
Trying to think what else to use it on as I've got quite a bit left over from moding my watch.

from time to time, i've lost my cyclocomputer for one reason or another. I've thought of using epoxy and monofilament to create a lanyard. That combined with this powder may kill 2 birds... nice.

Ooh yes! I've lost 2 computers after crashing at night, I'll do that too. Quite like the idea of spraying my rims or frame just for fun.
I've also put some on my front door key so I can find it quickly in the dark although I have to charge it quickly with my torch, it's dark in my pocket...

Ok, be careful out there; I spent 30 seconds taking the shifter indicators apart and two and a half hours trying to figure out how to put them back together... There's a pesky spring that's inelegantly rammed in, if anyone gets stuck then let me know and I'll try and explain with pics etc.
I was going to go down the route of using paint from the company I work for but on balance I'm going to use epoxy as you can get more powder in it and it'll adhere better to the sticker Shimano use on my shifters so I'll need to get some more as the stuff I have is so old it goes off in minutes and doesn't stick too well.
Had a customer visit me today who explained the crazy science behind photoluminescence, it's crazy stuff, almost as cool as titanium...
