A modern version of this would make a fabulous bikepacking bike. Old but new all at once!

Great stuff, thanks for sharing.  dual fixed gear, soft tail (looks like Siren copied their flex plate), Alt bars, Potts Mod for the front brake so you can still do barspins, frame packs, S&S couplers, Leather saddle,....... now just add some big modern tires and better materials!

Don't forget the Buffalo soldiers of the 25th Bicycle Corps!!

In 1897, 20 soldiers, an army surgeon and a reporter led by Lt. James A. Moss, rode bicycles from Fort Missoula in Montana to St. Louis, Missouri. The trip was made as an experiment to see whether the bicycle could serve a useful purpose in the Army.
