Has anyone found a cool way to make this trip from Durango to Flagstaff? I love exploring new places by bike and have always wanted to check out Flagstaff. Does anyone know of a great way to go with as little roads/ traffic as possible?

Maybe you could backtrack parts of this guy's route http://www.mtb-news.de/forum/t/rockymountix-von-mexiko-nach-kanada.460366/ , including a hike through the Grand Canyon. Scroll through pages 16 (Flagstaff) to 44 (Fruita) to follow his trails and camps.
