What is in the pan?
1 carrot
1/3 cup rice
Cut the carrot into very small chunks, and it will cook as fast as the rice. (Can you see why I am asking for 1 pan recipes)?

Tip. When the rice is simmering put an egg on top, then replace the lid, maybe half way through the simmer.
For transportable try-
Oatmeal and raisins.
Boil some water.
Stir oatmeal and raisins into water.
Cover and wait a few minutes.
