Mikkel and I are back from our four-day fatbiking trip along the Southern Hallingdalsløypa ski trail in Norway. The blog posts are up and full of photos.

Nice pics. How long is this trail? How was your progress compared to skiing with full packs?

I think average speed was comparable, or perhaps a little faster, than someone on fjell ski and a full pack. I think the only people who went faster than us were fit guys and girls, out with no pack and skate skiing.

The trail was in really good condition though. Had there been a lot of snowfall, I think skiing may have been quicker.

This stretch of the trail is about 150-160km long.
