It's unclear how much extra drag you take on, but this immediately made me think of the Tour Divide.

That's a fantastic idea. Free water from air.
It's just condensation like a air conditioner makes. If we can hook up a cooling suit at the same time that sounds nice for hot days.
I would think the power source must be big.....

That is a neat concept. Unfortunately the places you really need water also tend to be dry, but humidity does come up at night and especially in the morning. So it would be interesting to see how much you could collect while racing the AZT (riding all night).
It does take up precious frame bag space...

I saw this and wondered how much better would it be if you could hang it on a downtube and supply power with a dyno-hub instead of solar?
