Anyone here look at the Garmin Fenix?

Appears to be a new model. Mostly aimed at backpackers but with most of the Forerunner and Edge features as well.
It does routes, i.e. the example given being the entire appalachian trail plus a tremendous amount of waypoints.
Displays routes on small greyscal LCD screen.
Has an incredible battery life.
Does not do basemaps, but then I don't think I really need basemaps especially if I have a the ACA maps in the bottom of my bag just in case.
Plus, I will have an Android phone/google maps which can pre-cache the route as a backup as well.
