A good (and short) read:

Bike Camping. How it's different from touring, and why you may actually have time to do some of it.
Nearly all of my trips have been 'touring' (or racing, or borderline racing), but I'm interested to try some bike camping, and perhaps try carrying a bit more and doing 'unloaded' rides while out there.

This is very interesting for me since Northern Illinois has no bikepacking areas to speak of. I have to do some substantial driving to get to a destination. There are however, campgrounds near bike trails within a days ride. I actually have a few "bike camping" trips in the works.
