Just returned from my Kaibab Plateau bikepacking trip this weekend. The route mostly followed the Kaibab Monstercross 125 route, but I chose to pay a visit to the Lookout Tower near the park entrance and I rode the AZT from the Grand Canyon park boundary all the way to Hwy 89A (instead of dropping off the east side of the plateau). Trip stats are as follows: 129 miles, 12.75K of elevation gain.
