I cut it a little short do to all the rain, mud.
It was nice to get by with what I already owned, and be completely self supported.I know it was only for 2 days ,1 night but It was a big acomplishment for me.
I need/want a full week! Wink

Okay, no more on why a trip wasn't good enough. Every trip is awesome. Hell, every ride is awesome. Stay out of the rescue chopper/hospital, get home and I'd call it a total success. A sweet thing about a short bikepack is you basically have your full kit with you–great training/shakedown. After two days, everything gets easier, IME. Way to go, cheese...here's to breaking ice  thumbsup

^ good points indeed.Excellent trip, learned alot.Bike bags are in order. The space for 2 bottles could be put to better use.The noise of the rack banging around scared off any kind of wildlife ,so back on the commuter it goes.
