I love my steel rigs, but this time it's a little Ti love from the UPS man.  Umm, rephrasing.... The heart of my TD rig is on the way from TN to TX, a Lynskey Ridgeline.  I tend to keep my bikes around a long time, so I'll join the AARP on this one in about 20 years.  So anyone who runs a plow, I-40 could use a pass or two.   icon_biggrin  I'll be a new bike papa in a few days!

Hi JP,

Glad to read that your new 'baby' is on the way. I wouldn't mind being the godfather... just in case.   Wink

sadly my trusty steel bike will be staying home from my TDR attempt this year also.  i went to plastic with gears a few months ago and it seems to work great in the endurance racing i've done on it so far, we'll have to see how the tour treats it. btw as a card carrying aarp member the many motel and ihop discounts along the way should more than pay for this years new ride :)
