Finally received my ECR build from CycleMonkey and dialed it in these past few weeks. Really diggin' this machine. Surly's description fits so well. With a Rohloff on the back, my ECR is not nimble. But the fit and the ride are incredible. Feels like an all day, ride-into-oblivion steed.

Congrats. I also have test rode one and thought the same thing. It's not going to go anywhere super fast, but it's going to be comfortable and will handle most anything you throw at it. I also test rode one last year before they came out and thought that it was great on double track but wouldn't want to do much single track on one.

Sadly, I already have a Fargo and a Pugsley, and felt there was too much overlap to get much use out of an ECR for me to purchase. To no surprise, it felt exactly like the middle ground between both of those bikes.
