Time to start using the Fargo for some day long touring.  I rolled out into a 30 degree day. 3-4 mph wind, not to cold but not a day to get wet feet.  I managed to string together 1 pipeline row with a sewer row and finally a power-line row to get about 8 miles to the north.  Hit some asphalt for a mile or to until the final sewer line row.  I was stupid enough to try and cross the stream that didn't look that deep.  It was deep and rocky didn't fall but I did have to jump off and soak my feet.  Arghhhhh.  Now both feet are wet but warm enough while riding.  The crossing was a complete waste as the trail ran out into the Amtrak tracks.  Man those things are fast.  Back across the stream, of course I made it this time.  Lucky for me I had spare socks and my neoprene booties packed.  Made a cup of hot coffee dried off a bit and managed to make it the 12 miles home before my feet completely froze.  All in all a great ride.  No pics as I left the phone home.  Being off work for me means absolutely no contact otherwise I get drawn in to issues and waste my vacation time.  Not sure were I am heading tomorrow.  Got to get the Casseroll out on the road so I think I'll head west for the day.
