many!

no, not really - it looks more hassle than it is.

there were a couple of lengthy walks back up but they were enjoyable walks with good views and so i can't complain!

Really nice!  thumbsup

Can you share some of your logistics. How did you get to the start and make it back home? Easy to get food (obviously water was no problem)? I'm all ears.

Beautiful, and well-filmed for a 1-man crew and subject.  Makes me want to visit Europe, though I suspect that my wife would prefer a bit different trip if we visited Smiley  Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys, glad people are liking it!

Sure!

Travel - i drove to Rovereto, Italy. Took the train to the Austrian border, rode from there to Innsbruck and then got a train to Garmisch, Germany. Then once I reached Lake Garda at the end of the route I had a 25km/15mile ride back to the car.

Water - no worries. probably didn't even need my filter but used it anyway (most of the time).

Food - for breakfast I took enough individual sachets of porridge for the trip, usually ate lunch (and/or snacks) when I passed little villages and then carried at least two evening meals with me at all times (usually some quick and easy rice/pasta/couscous thing) and cooked it on my home-made meths stove.

Don't see a lot of those long shots from far away on solo shoots. Bravo on the variety. Looks like it was a lot of work, it payed off. Care to share your photo kit?

Before you judge a man, try walking a mile in his shoes. That way when you do judge him you'll be a mile away and have his shoes.

Awesome video and great ride. All that effort you put in filming is so worth it.
I see you really rode much more miles when bears were close. I wonder how far would you go if bear would actually follow you? Smiley
Thanks for sharing and keep up posting more videos.
