First picture is after a hot day of riding and it's all down hill! Day was almost over and the sun was starting to set in Canyon Lands NP, what more could you ask for.... a guess there's always camp (second photo)

Overnighter with my 10 year old son on the C&O canal. We kept it simple, easy and fun. First time bikepacking for him. It got down in the low 30's at night but he stayed bundled up and warm and never complained once.

Sweet!! I'm riding up there this weekend, the Frisco, and planning the Katy in June. I'm working on extending my range to do the MS 150 this fall.

Singular Gyphon set up as a 1 x 10 with Retro Shifter Received new seat bag from 12Wheels, perfect size for day trips. Greg was great to work with and bag is top notch Early Christmas present of custom Head Badge from Jennifer Green Custom jewelry
Sweet. How do you like the retroshift? I'm honestly considering them. I'm burning through STI to quick. They can't handle the rain and mud and snow. I have some paul's thumb mounts as a fall back, but my fargo is a single track monster and bar end just don't cut it when things get technical.

I love em, real simple to use No problems so far, but I have not done any rides in extreme conditions Retroshift is really nice to work with. He answers emails quickly If I ever build up another bike I would use again

Can you shift from the drops with the retroshifts? It seems like they are a hood-shifting position.

I did a scouting ride for a trip I am planning with my 12 yo son. This is Bonita Canyon in western NM. It's on the southeastern end of the Zuni Mountains which is part of the Cibola National Forest. It's also a hike thru route for the CDT. The ride started out on the forest road. But it wasn't't long before I found some very well worn cattle trails. Also saw a lot of cattle. Nice geologic wonders on the Easter edg of the canyon.

This nice single track continued all the way up through the canyon. A pretty modest incline on the way up but rippin' on the way back down! The ride. For bikepacking I have an OMM Cold Springs rear rack and strap a bag to the bars. Not too fancy but plenty sturdy. This was my first ride with new wheelset (tubeless!), cassette, chain and rebuilt fork. Couldn't be happier! View from the eastern rim.

An awesome day trip along the sheep River Trail to Dennings Cabin, Kananaskis Country, Alberta, Canada. Mount Gibraltar loomed to my flanks all day, as a giant navigation beacon.
