Of course it does... it's a Yeti! I've been on the Yeti ARCc(posted in this thread a few posts back) for a couple years now. The ARCc is the ARC in carbon with 29er wheels, so... if you like your ARC and you're ever thinking about going big wheels and lighter, the ARCc is definitely one to take a look at. The loop tail has always been a thing of beauty and the ARC was THE mountain bike for years and years, you really can't go wrong on one, ARC 26er or ARCc 29er. Welcome to the tribe. |

Just got back from touring New Zealand's North Island for a month from Auckland to Wellington on as much single track and dirt as I could link together. I used the Tour Aoteroa and the Kennett guide books as sources and added a side trip to Rotorua for a number of days to ride Redwoods unloaded, an absolute must do.
This is my full on 'bike touring' set up so not as lean as my bikepacking kit but still very capable of riding proper trails and no back pack which is ket for me for touring. Full camp kit with bivy, tarp, quilt, cook (boil water) kit, food for a couple days, guide books, toiletries and a change of clothes, even shoes, to become acceptable in towns and when going out. iPod touch for internets, movies and music, tools, tubes, spares, you know...
Bike Setup: I basically took my standard mountain bike set up and just added gears and bags. I decided to go 1x10 (Sram x9) this time and went with a 30 up front, XT cassette with a 40T one up added in the rear the day before the trip, I know, I know but it worked flawlessly and tonnes of people around here use them without issue so I wasn't worried. Minion DHR II on the front Ikon 2.3 on the rear, slow on the pavement but I was out to ride trails so I didn't care too much, tubeless of course.
Bags are my own; some cuben hybrid, some VX. The exception was the now vintage CDW seat bag I've had for a number of years as my seat bag design/shape is smaller so I took the larger one.
Many people rush to the South when they get to New Zealand but there's a lot of good action in the North.
Picture taken on the 'Bridge to Nowhere' after about 40km of trails in the rain. Next was a jet boat ride to Pipiriki to get back on land as the bridge literally ends a mile from the river and there's no where else to go on beyond that.
Life is good.

Well Addy Marx came into my place of work and I was sold on frame pack's etc So I have build up my Specialized Awol with a few bit of Shimano XT..  Can not wait until the Kiwi Brevet  Kiwi Pete |

Farawayvisions, nice setup! Just wondering what type of bag/attachment that is on the bottom of your downside tube? Looks like a good bag to attach on those smaller areas of the bike. Does it hold well?

That little bag is for a battery pack for a beast of a headlight, though I use it for other bits and pieces sometimes as I can get the battery pack into the frame bag. Rode with this set up on an on road off road trip for over 500km, nothing budged.

When it was still clean. Here is my AZTR 750 ITT rig for this coming year: Bike= Turner Flux (120mm rear, 140mm front travel), XX1 with 28 tooth front ring Bags= Combo of Porcelain Rocket, Bedrock, and Revelate-- shortly after this pic was taken I ran into some clearance issues with the front tire rubbing the handlebar bag so I will be switching to the smaller diameter Bedrock handlebar setup. I LOVE the honaker hydro bag under the downtube. Great place to sneak in an extra liter of water and keeps the weight down low where it belongs.  |

And here's another Dutch bike  Next week I'm heading off for a couple of weeks on the Transandalusia with a set up like this( now with lighter dry bags). Built the bike up over Christmas and spent a lot of time sewing the last couple of weeks.
