Here's my Yeti ARC, aka "Joan of ARC," set up with bags by Revelate Design. Since added two feedbags in white to the bars. Shown here on a test ride along the Ozark Trail in Missouri.

First haul on my new Copper Bronzed 27.5+ Velo Orange Piolet. I need a shorter stem and a smaller chainring, but other than that it's definitely the most fun I've ever had on a bicycle.

Seven Evergreen:
White Industries crank with a nice low granny to keep me spinning up the most brutal hills till I lose traction. S&S couplers to bring it with me everywhere I go. PR Mr. Fusion 2.0 fits all the gear I could ever need without a hint of sway. Half frame bag leaves plenty of space for bottles, and holds all the various fiddly bits and food. I couldn't get bar bags to work without crushing the shifter cables, so I used a stuff sack strapped to the aero bars for my sleep kit. J Paks snak pak gets first aid kit, flashlight, inhaler, and snacks. One feed bag gets gummy bears and jerky, the other gets cookies.

Details on the bike, Addy?
*Waltworks custom steel made in 2012. Recently stripped the paint off, polished it up and had it clear coated. *120/100mm Fox Talas with all the newest updates. Thanks Suspension Werx in North Van! *1x10 drivetrain 28 x (11-36 XT cassette) Not enough gearing! but I've been riding single speed since last years CTR so I thought I'd be strong haha. *Cuben fiber (myog) dual compartment frame bag. Top: 1L Water, 600mL mix bottle, light batteries and water pills. Bottom: tools, tube, pump, first aid, shit kit. *Gravity Dropper with cuben dropper post seat bag (myog): puffy jacket and light insulated synthetic vest. *Bar harness (myog) sol escape lite bivy and rain gear all rolled up together. *classic Epic Designs top tube bag borrowed the morning of the race as I needed some junk drawer space for snacks, etc. *Talon 11 pack with a small piece of hot water tank insulation as a sleeping pad. Held food, bladder and quick change layers; knee warmers, wind jacket. Toiletries, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc. in hip belt pockets. I did the race without a sleeping bag but my clothing system was optimized for this. I just slept in all my clothes, like every single thing in the bivy and on that little pad. This way there was no redundancy or dead weight. I was able to sleep above 11000' with good site selection (soft dry ground, out of wind, etc..) for about 3 or so hours comfortably. Beyond 3 hours I would wake up shivering. I generally run cold anyways so that was to be expected and ensured no oversleeping of my alarm. Probably the last CTR I would ever do on a hard tail unless I was brave (or silly or strong) enough to attempt it single speed. That'd be gnarly though coming from sea level where I live. Two for two completions, both directions on this bike on the 1x10 is good but to actually sit and spin and climb the rough rocky trails and not have crushing saddle pain I'm thinking of moving over to the dark side and getting something light and plastic with suspension and lots of gears! Descending has never been my weakness so that's not the concern it's the long seated soul climbs that I don't have access to. This became quite apparent on route again this year as fellow racers worked their way up these long glorious climbs twirling easy gears (26x45 or something) while I marched on bucked off line. Hell of a ride this year though, it was so great. Everybody out on route was the best. We've got such a good group of people sharing these silly experiences. It was really special.

Thanks for the specs. I wasn't sure if the bike was the red one I'd seen in photos past.
I don't know how you guys do it. I toured the route back in 2012 on my Mooto-X YBB. Rugged for sure. The YBB is good for taking the edge off, but it sure ain't no super-plush FS ride.
Kudos on a great ride out there!

Well this is my rookie attempt at bikepacking. I got some roque panda bags that worked well for my needs as of right now. Some things I need to change are my saddle is not getting along with my back side after a few miles with the extra weight in my pack. I'm also thinking of running a back rack....
