It started out life as a TREK Marlin. The only thing left is the frame.

I've been riding my bike in Arizona. It's pretty radical.

Here's my Cannondale Fat Caad 2. I love it! Light, apocolypse-ready. I've ridden with with a few pairs of seasonal "shoes". Tried 27.5 plus, then 29plus, and of course the 26 fats native to the bike. Going to get a set of road 29ers and try life with just one bike...Here is it is with the 29 plus tires while bikepacking on the pine creek trail in Pennsylvania this summer. Spesh Burra Burra harness on front, PDW bindle and revelate dry bag on the seat post, home-sewn x-pac frame bag, and King Cage manythings on the forks. Jones bars.

This is my Fat CAAD2 winter and squishey trail bike. The Salsa anything cages are electrical taped to the fork. The idea is that the tape will break off before I bend the fork in a crash. My tent goes on one side, my sleeping bag on the other. So far, 2 year and no slippage. I ditch the rack and go with a Relevate Vicacha in the summer. The frame bag is a Becker, made in Fairbanks. Everything else is Revelate that I take off my TD set up.

Great to see another Fat Caad 2. I feel like we are the only two owners in the world. I have my manything cages attached with those steel clamps with bolts that King Cage makes...Not sure what would happen in a crash. Steel is stronger than aluminum but the clamps are petty thin. I thought about that same issue recently though when trying to figure out how to attach something to the downtube. Mabye one of those bags that just velcros on with extra straps and no mechanical hard linkage at all, as you are doing on your fork.

Downloaded the jpeg, edited it for size in Lightroom and re-uploaded and posted it here. You need to to simply edited it for size in a suitable application. I use Lightroom because I am into photography but I am sure there are other programs you can use.
