I'm considering the purchase of a Cannondale Carbon Flash 2 29er and wonder if anyone has any experience mounting the Revelate Designs Harness with a lefty fork. You typically have a strap that goes around the head tube or frame to stabilize the load. I'm not sure if the lefty fork will be in the way or where this strap should attach.

I do not have the harness, but I find the Pocket works find on its own with a Lefty.

So you don't have any trouble with the front bag bouncing around. Funny i have the same compression bag for the front and for a moment I thought, now how did he do that...

I have had no problems at all with the bag bouncing around.

Do you attach with the "pocket clips" that Revelate sells to use the pocket alone, or use another method? Any nitty gritty details would be appreciated.

Also did you need to do anything special with the cables, brake levers?

My boyfriend uses it on a lefty without any problem.  He loosely attaches the strap to the metal connecting the fork to the head tube.

I have a similar Flash setup to the one in the photo.
I don't know if you're riding superlong distances,
but my aerobars stabilize my entire front bag system.
I attach everything under them, instead of having to attach everything to the stem, handlebars.
The event drysac in the photo (I have the same one) attaches perfectly under the aerobars.

I have the Pocket Clips, but do not use them. I feed the Pocket through two of the straps on the dry bag. This keeps the dry bag from shifting left to right. Than I just strap the Pocket to the bars. I shortened all my cables.

How do you get your harness to clear your brake and shifter cables?? I am having a hell of a time getting it set up correctly, and not putting undo pressure on my cables....please post more pictures....

I've put a lot of pressure on the cables, so far, without any problem, at least not yet.  Have only done some 2 and 3 day trips so far.  we put the harnesses on first.  The foam inserts help keep it off the cables. After the harness is tight, then we attach the dry bag or tent and the handlebar bag.  It is awkward, but without the weight and bulk of the other items, not impossible to install.

So far, my best fit is by hanging it from aero bars, but in a long and bouncy downhill it started to slide forward. I have done a couple multi day adventures, but am still not completely sold on how it is attached.....
