Any idea on estimated delivery date? Perhaps we could turn this into a charity event for Heidi Clayton.

I will work on it on my end on where we could show it downtown. We could also show a quick slide show from the AZT 300 race and Coconino, chat about bikepacking ST in Arizona.

Flatfishy - Had to do some negotiations with Herself but they have been successfully concluded. I am road riding in the Alps two weeks after WRT which was the problem but agreed to have a few days away camping the week before.

If anyone is interested, we have a showing in San Francisco on June 11th. What: Ride the Divide screening, benefiting LIVESTRONG. Where:The Red Vic Movie House, 1727 Haight Street San Francisco, CA 94117 When: June 11, 2010 - 7:00pm and 9:00pm Cost: $15 for Adults, $10 for children under 18. It turns out the Mike Dion is a big fan of LIVESTRONG. As a result, he has granted us the first San Francisco Bay Area screening of "Ride The Divide" as a fundraiser for the 1 Gear, 1 Cause/LIVESTRONG effort! Yeeeehhaaaa! Since most of you probably have NO idea who in the heck I am or what 1 Gear 1 Cause is about, here's a link. It's work and family safe, I promise. http://www.1gear1cause.org/?q=content/about-1gear1causeorgSpread the word to your NorCal pals! Hope to see you there! - Erik

Just received this in my inbox!!
Delivery update of your film
As independent filmmakers, we appreciate the early support you have shown by pre-ordering the DVD or Blu-Ray edition of the movie.
Last Thursday we received our first box of DVDs from the manufacturer. Though we personally screened and approved the final master of the film and nearly two hours of extras content, the DVDs we received have problems with the audio track.
We are committed to delivering you the highest quality DVD’s possible. We returned the packages to the manufacturer and are working with them to produce new, top-quality DVDs. This process will take approximately one week. The Blu-ray version is being done separately and there are no issues other than it is taking much longer to acquire all the necessary licenses and to author this newer technology. We estimate the Blu-ray versions will be ready to ship in 3 weeks.
I wish we had Sony Pictures helping us distribute the film but our small production company is still doing it big and winning awards in the process!
We are sorry for the delay in mailing your copy of Ride The Divide. As soon as we have our new shipment we will get them shipped to the address you provided with your order.
Thank you again for your support and for your patience.
Please contact us if you have any questions.
Regards,
Ride the Divide - Producers

Just finished watching it and it was great. My only gripe is that the dvd itself is pretty flimsy, I almost bent it in half getting it out of its case

If there's any Michigan/near Michigan folks poking around the forum, we have a showing scheduled for August 19 in Royal Oak at the Main Art Theatre. http://mmba.org/ridethedivideMike has been great to work with in setting this up. Can't wait!

RtheD Movie has landed in Cheltenham, UK SanMigs are in the fridge cooling ready for the UK premier later....who cares about the football! What a great movie, really well shot and really gave the rather remote SPOT tracking and snippets of call-ins a human face. Topmarks for all involved Now having to endure Glee...trade-offs I guess SSP
