Some photos from the PA (Pennsylvania)  Paleo Tour #1....  PA Paleo- an excuse to grill beef for dinner.

This trip was just a weekender with a little of everything throne into the ride

Summer rains bring these guys out.  Unanimously struck from the Paleo Diet.

Old Coal Tipple Site:  The Debate:  Who would ride the steep back slope?

Some ATV trail

Amphibians:  Not on the menu today.

Old RR Grade

Beef Its Whats for Dinner

Rule of Thumb:  Always check out the action at the bridges in river towns.... so happened hydroplane races where on... we watch one heat of the juniors... we have breakaway winner

From sea to air... checking out a boneyard Piper

Beef stop at grocery

River road

Fern City Single Track

Trail is long washed out... make your own.

Jungle Camp

Yea, we hauled in charcoal... just in case firewood was going to be an issue

More of camp

Verdant

The power line push.

The Menu:  On the car trip home, a must stop for the Paleo Dieter :  http://www.dennysbeerbarrelpub.com/burger-challenges

Route for #2 is TBD....  probably in North Central PA...thinking of a departure point of Parker Dam State Park, which is within 10 miles of I-80.

We are planning Paleo II for the weekend of August 10...  I'll make a post Trip Planning/Need a Partner Category.  EDIT:  post link:  http://www.bikepacking.net/forum/index.php/topic,5968.0.html

That Guy:  The route is basically SR144>State Line Road>Kato> ATV Trail>Orviston>RR Grade to Monument>Back Roads>Lock Haven and looping back to starting point.
