Just moved to Velenje, Slovenia and I'm wondering if there are any long distance mtb routes with lots of ridable singletrack for exploring?

Any locals around or someone who did some rides here?

I've never been in Slovenia, but I found two web sites with GPS tracks for MTB.

There is a guy named Miha Mlakar who runs a guesthouse in Markovec. He helped me out with some great routes and maps when I was bikepacking through Slovenia last summer. He's not a biker himself, but he seems to know all of the trails and backroads.
