Well if you're gonna go that route you could say pretty much everyone ripped off Eric at revelate or the infamous Jeff at Carousel.

I like it, pretty slick. The only thing I would change, is you still need to velcro it to your seatpost. Would be better if you could just remove the bag just by unclipping it. Nice work!

That's awesome if it works for shorter 29er riders. I have a Revelate Pika on my small El Mariachi and on the descents over the rough stuff, it can sometimes rub on tires. Especially when I run a leather saddle due to the extra long rails.

Saw a PC prototype photo several weeks back. It's sure funny how simultaneous development works sometimes. Back in 2011 I raced the CTR with a home-brewed seatbag system that utilized a hinging half-rack bolted to a seatpost clamp, with a removable bag inside the straps that connected the rack to the saddle rails. In 2012 I had Andrew @ Bedrock and Ron @ King Cage help me with a prototype of a slicker, lighter version. But we decided against following that route, and the titanium rack sits in my office. We never even took photos or anything, so it isn't as if the idea was purposefully copied... I wouldn't be surprised if that idea had been around long before, in any case.
Some things are just good ideas that pop up in multiple places at around the same time. This is a well-documented phenomenon across the board - academic, scientific, industrial, you name it! I like Scott's take, it looks pretty slick.
@Nick - my original bag clipped into the harness, as you suggested above, as opposed to interfacing with the post - that worked well!
