I finally got around to writing up the trip report for my snowbiking adventure last March. The next day I went packrafting with my bike too, down the Squamish River, but I haven't written that up yet. I have lots of video, but man it's time consuming to sort through all that and edit it. I think I'll get a more powerful computer to do that, and save my small laptop for travelling.

Great photos and write-up.  Thanks for putting time into that so we could enjoy a glimpse of it.

Nice Job Mark, beautiful scenes. Now if only I could convince myself to like the snow! I'll stick to mucky Seymour in the winter months for now. Well done!

Ha, actually I took it techy riding down Mt Fromme on Saturday (Executioner / Dreamweaver). It does pretty good, I dropped the pressure to 5 psi. But I bottomed out once on a root and at the end of the ride I noticed the wheel was wobbling (a Surly Rolling Darryl). So it isn't really suited for technical North Shore riding but it can definitely handle it well. It just rolls right over the roots. When they come out with a full suspension, or even just front suspension, version that will be a killer bike.

There are several fat front suspension options you can buy today. Cannondale Lefty forks will work with fatbike specific mounts that are currently available.

Sandman is selling a fatbike fork.

There are other options, but I think these two are the best if you want fat front suspension today.  headbang
