So I been working on a little pet project.

Pretty much Rob R, suggested, at would it be possible scenario, to ride from coast to coast.  Wheel dip to wheel dip, taking the dirtiest route possible.

So, I got something put together, didnt really take much work.

My Son and I have done one Bikepacking trip, the PapaKai tour I called it.

We are doing another one.

The Day after Thanksgiving, we will load up our singlespeeds and ride from one coast to another, wheel dip to wheel dip via the TransFlorida Mountain bike route.

Should be fun 3 days 200 miles+-.

What part was mine? The wheel dip or taking Kai?

Sounds like a good time for sure.

The convo went something like this.
I was looking at the map and it sure would be cool if we had an off road route that we could link up to the naked Indian route and go across the state.
Or maybe I imagined that convo.

I remember thinking and looking at the Green Swamp to Tampa areial images... i think you took that to the next level and made Trans FLA.

I really still want to explore that corridor. Go to Tampa and stay with MK or Mucaro and head back north. This winter/spring?

Would you happen to have a route mapped that we could see? This sounds like fun.

The route is still being worked on and developed and finalized, but email me at nakedindian@singletracksamurai.com and I will email you the route we were hoping to complete this weekend.

I say hoping, cause we had to pull the plugg early, My son got super exhausted, and got out of breath, which made him scared, which made him hyperventilate and it took the paramedics and some oxygen to calm him down.  This morning, we made it to Santos 62 miles out of the 210, sore, but in good spirits, got picked up and now we are home relaxing.  I am going to prep him some more, do some over nights and then go out and try again, either that or just spread the miles over four days instead of the 2.5 we had to work with.
