If you don't mind me asking, what camera(s) do you use?

By the way, I am a journalist in the US and have visited your wonderful country on several occasions but, unfortunately, never for cycling or bikepacking.  Not long back I was at the SAKO factory in Riihimaki and have also been to the Lapua factory in the city of the same name.  While at Lapua I experienced the thrill (terror?) of playing co-pilot to one of Finland's top rally car drivers.  We were airborne a good part of the ride.  The most exciting thing I have ever done in my entire life!

For this trip I used the Canon S90 pocket camera, and I also had an older Canon A570IS as backup. From what I've read the S90 (the newer model is S95) is one of the best pocket sized cameras, giving good image quality also in situations with less light. The Panasonic LX5 is probably a little better with the wider zoom optics, but is a lot bigger than the S90. I also use a Canon EOS 60D mainly with the EOS 15-85 lens, if I can take something heavier with me.

I'm sure that co-piloting a rally car driver would be extremely scary. The speed they drive is really insane.

My favorite full-size camera is a Nikon D70 that I bought when it was introduced years ago.  These two photos were shot with an equally ancient but totally reliable Nikon Coolpix 7900 pocket camera.
