Not as remote, or laden with singletrack and forest roads as those of you in the wild wild west routinely experience, but I combined a family trip with a ~238 mile road / dirt road / trail bikepacking trip from Burlington, VT to the Utica, NY area, crossing the ADK park and riding the Moose River Plains road from end to end. I'd been on the road the previous winter, on my Pugsley (will try to do an end to end this winter on the pugs...).

I had a 2 night trip sketched out, with snomo, singletrack, and more forest road - but had to stick to pave and known dirt roads to make this work with a family event. And, it was a great shakedown for some gear / mind / body / and my new Fargo.

Too much pave to get to the dirt. Camped after ~130+ miles of riding. Finished up the next day with a century+.

Day 2 saw dirt, some trail, and more pave and gravel roads to the finish.
