Looks great.  The bag maker is a forum member here.  Looks like the bags are utilizing inserts and "water bottle" bolts all over the place.  I saw the Hunter/Porcelain Rocket  FatBike that appeared to use the same attachment method.  Great to see the collab with fame designers and bag makers.

Who gets the credit for the original method?  JerryW??  I know I've used it for a few bag builds as well as a couple others.  JerryW's setup is what influenced mine.

Ummm... BRP may have copied JerryW who copied my design that was posted here: http://www.bikepacking.net/forum/index.php/topic,2076 (and the first instance of anyone ever making a bag this way)...

I have openly thanked gregclimbs for the design influence on my frame bag. His was the first I'd seen of that type. Regardless of who's idea it was, I like it!

Anyway, back to the Rob English bike, it looks fantastic. I'm always amazed at how thin and delicate looking the seat stays are on his frames, especially on a mountain bike. I wonder if they contribute to a little softer ride quality.

Been bikepacking on an English for a few years now. We didn't conceive of it for such duty when Rob built it, but the fact that it can go in a suitcase is irresistible for short trips involving a flight. Comfortable, light, perfect handling, fun to ride.

Joe

ps. Great looking bike and bags, BRP.

Hey Joe....
It was your bike that set my mind on Rob's folding design...especially as you were using an alfine 8 too.
I love your bike in that mode! :]

The ability to fit them into such a small package is amazing...
