I'm thinking of doing the Womble trail as a gear/rider tester overnight. Has anyone done packed here? Any thoughts?

There has been a few of us on here that have done some overnighters/multiday stuff on the Womble and the Ouachita Trail. Search "ouachita" and I bet you'll find them. Otherwise post up a specific question and we'll help as much as possible.

actually I just did a search. Type in "Arkansas" and you'll get more hits.

That's weird, I did the search at work and pulled up a bunch, now that I'm at home I'm not pulling anything up. Let me see what I can find for you, but if you have any questions just post up. I've done 2 multi days on the Womble and the Ouachita combined. Both were great trips. I think the Womble is a perfect trail to get things dialed in.

I posted up some questions over there as well. Hopefully I can get some clarification so I don't get lost like last time. I love the OT and the Womble. It's the only area I can think of that is singletrack friendly for bikes that you can ride on for longer than 20 or 30 miles without having to double back on in the region.
