So I'm offering $80 custom Xpac framebags, until I get 80 orders or 80 days go by! Why? Think of it as a retroactive kickstarter project - I get to pay off all the sewing equipment I bought last year and jumpstart my business, and you get a great deal out of it. For the full scoop, check out my website. EDIT: As of February 5th, 40 bags have been ordered!. Halfway there. I've finished and shipped 23 of those bags. See attached photos of completed bags.The third photo shows a closeup of the side pocket option, and the last shows a closeup of the hydration port option. The hydration port is made of CSM/Hypalon (one of my new favorite materials; I use it for all kinds of things, mostly very small pieces of it). I used CSM because it hardly frays at all, so it's easily modifiable by the end user. I start with a hole just big enough for a hydration tube, so that there's a smaller entryway for water when in use. But if the end user wants to make it bigger to easily fit a bite valve through, they are free to do so. I'm very happy with the sale so far - I've become a lot more efficient at making framebags, and I've been able to order materials in larger quantities than I'd normally be willing to do. It's been a great way to start the year. |

SMO/Nick, I have a Trek 3700, interested in trying a frame bag, could make a cardboard cutout and mail it (folded) if needed. I've yet to do my first overnighter, so I'm a greenhorn at this. Yeah, I can fit too much "stuff"  |

11 bags out of the 80 are ordered! I'm super happy with the sale so far. I will update my website (and this thread) when I have pictures of the first round of finished bags. Yeah, that would be fine. I charge more for full-suspension bikes, but that's close enough to a triangle that I can work with it pretty easily and won't have to reach into that full-suspension bag of tricks for the design. SMO/Nick, I have a Trek 3700, interested in trying a frame bag, could make a cardboard cutout and mail it (folded) if needed. You can make a cutout, but it's easier (and more accurate) to send me a photo with a ruler in it. I wrote a little guide here on my website about how to take a good photo for fitting. |

Nice! Transmissions are still a scary unknown for me (and I'm really ok with that). I just spent this weekend putting my car back together (idler siezed on the timing belt, on an interference engine, and I did not bend any valves!). I still can't believe I got that lucky. My worries about possibly needing a new engine was one of the hidden motivations behind this sale . . .  |

I'm halfway there! 40 framebags have been ordered in just over three weeks, so I don't think this will make it to 80 days. I'm pretty psyched! 23 out of those 40 have been made and shipped. My zippers were backordered so I've been delayed a couple of days, but things should pick up now that they've arrived.

Good stuff! Nick made my frame bag, gas tank bag and seat bag for my Trek Sawyer. Very impressed with the quality and the fit! Maiden voyage (and my 1st bikepacking trip) on the AZ Trail coming up early next month.

Hello All, Recently my teenage son has started riding with me (  ) and we have some grand plans for bike packing this year. With that. though, I find that my "disease" costs me not quite twice as much, but certainly much more than before he started riding or wasn't even a twinkle in my eye. Here in the pacific NW we have a lot of opportunities, some of which are mtb oriented and some that are more road/gravel oriented. Given that we both have mtbs and gravel bikes, I'd been pondering how to gear up for both. Lucky for me, Nick @ Rogue Panda came along with this deal and it was just too good to pass up -- frame bags for all 4 bikes for basically the cost of two (of most other) custom frame bags and a young man working to get his own biz off the ground. What's not to love about that? Pretty awesome, but it got better once I opened the box. Nick's workmanship is simply excellent, it is obvious he takes great care in where he places the straps, and the bags fit the 4 bikes nicely. I don't know how many more bags Nick will be doing with this deal, but if you're even just "kinda sorta thinkin'" about getting a custom frame bag for your steed, you need to take advantage of this deal if you still can. And if it is too late, well, after seeing 4 samples of Nicks work I think his bags are a pretty good deal at the regular price. Cheers. Tim |

I received my Rogue Panda Designs Bag on time and the construction, design and finish are perfect. The ordering process and communication was outstanding. I had a great time riding around the San Bernardino National Forest this past week. Nick, thank you for your help making my first bikepacking the trip fantastic!
