WTB: good cheap 15-25 liter rucksack with belt pouches

I'm looking for a modern-style pack (narrow, ventilated pad, bladder pouch) about 1000 cu-in / 15-25 liters in size.
It's to replace a 25-yr-old Madden that I should admit is dead. It served me well for daytrips and weekends. Sometimes I musta carried 30 lbs in that pack. It's 21"x10"x5" approx. (That figures to be 1000 cu-in or 15 liters, about, but it must be bigger.) I'd like the new one to be just as tough but other bells'n'whistles like light-weight might be worth a bit of a trade-off.
I like a pack that can swing easily between 10-lb daytrips and 20-lb weekends.
I like the idea of side-bottle holders and 2 big belt pouches.
Maybe someone has something they'd like to sell? ...Or any good value tip on something on the market?
THANKS!

For $60 this Fox Outdoor "Field Operator's Pack" seems like a good one with lots of features -- bladder slot, etc. It doesn't have belt or sternum pouches but maybe it has MOLLE strap-slots so you can add your own:

For $30 the Fox Outdoor 25L "Rio Grande" seems like a big value:
