Asking $1,600

In Salt Lake City, UT (84105)

I bought this to run gears and tow around a bob for my drone.

I rode the frame maybe 10 times.

Salsa no longer makes ti frames. This has the updated geometry with shorter chainstays, 44mm headtube, threaded bb, and swinger dropouts for gears or singlespeed use. You can also get TA and Rolhoff dropouts if you prefer.

Frame is practically perfect, with just a touch of cable wear at the head tube (will be covered up when you run cables again) and a small tire rub on inside of non-drive chainstay from when I am out of true wheel rubbed, but it will never rust and with a wheel in the frame you cannot see it.

Matching blue seat collar and alloy water bottle bolts included.

Hello,

I am very interested in your frameset.  Would you be able to share with me your measurements as I don't have a Salsa dealer in the area and for me to know if I should be riding a M or S isn't that easy to find out.  On some models (Specialized AWOL) a M is a tad long and the standover is questionable at best.  That being said, I know the geometry might be very different on the Salsa El M and I like the idea that it is Titanium.

I do reside in Toronto, Canada if that creates a huge problem for you.  I'd be happy to pay shipping for it but it's just a matter of getting the détails sorted.

What year is this frameset?

Regards,

Jamie

Absolutely.

First, you can find geometry here: http://salsacycles.com/bikes/archive/2015_el_mariachi_ti

I am 6' tall with a 32" inseam. I typically ride mediums and large bikes, depending on the application. My fatbike is a large to maximize framebag size for bulky winter garments. My summer bikes tend to be mediums as I prefer a smaller, more playful frame on dirt. Also, I typically get medium frames as my framebag fits almost all of my bikes since the triangles are similar.

Salsa recommends the Medium for someone 5'8" to 6' tall.

The Medium Mariachi has 42mm more standover than the Medium AWOL. And reach 24mm longer (designed around shorter mtb stems) and stack is 17mm shorter. Depending on what bars you wanted to run, you should be able to make it work with the right stem/stack.

Happy to continue discussing this via PM. And willing to ship to Canada.

Thanks,

G
