Brooks C17 for sale

I've got a couple of saddles that just haven't worked for me that would better serve someone who knows these saddles work for them!

SOLD Selle Anatomica X2 black w/ chrome rails - $60 - good condition
Gifted a couple of years ago to replace classic B17 imperial narrow... probably has seen 500 miles and just doesn't jive with my bum (too wide I think). The saddle has ~60% of its tension screw still available and has been treated with Selle's saddle sauce a couple times. It comes with the remainder (a nearly full bottle) of the sauce.[/s]

2. Brooks C17 black w/ silver rails - $40 - fine condition
Another unsuccessful attempt to replace the B17 imperial narrow... has seen many miles but still has near infinite life left (are these saddles indestructible?). Quite sun-faded (as seen in photos), has a superficial rub-spot in the top fabric and has rubbed down edge in one corner from a crash. Purely cosmetic wear that doesn't effect fit/riding.

Pick up locally in/near the Flathead valley (MT) or can be shipped for ~$15 through USPS.

Heya - am looking for a wider B17 than mine. I got the narrow, and my sit bones are out of the "pockets" and more on the rails. How wide are these seats at their widest points?

Thanks for your patience on a reply - we just got back from cycling Montanas Vacias in Spain!

Personal feeling riding all three of the saddles you are discussing:
- B17 Narrow fit me (skinny butt) well but has fallen into disrepair after years of wet muddy riding and is no longer supportive
- C17 felt wide and much firmer, but I don't weigh much (~155 lbs), the extra width was nice in a more upright position but still felt a bit too wide for me
- Selle Anatomica felt widest and most flexible, again the width was nice in more upright positions but generally just felt too wide for my sit bones

Looking at them side by side, the C17 and Selle Anatomica are very similar in width with the Selle being slightly wider, and both are ~1cm wider than the B17 Narrow.
