The classified rules state buying and selling of bikepacking items and not general components. This frame is heavy duty with a large frame triangle which makes it more like a bikepacking frame than a regular hard tail mountain bike frame and I've seen other frames get sold here before. If it is a violation, let me know and I'll remove it.
In an odd twist of fate, I ended up with 2 Lynskey M290 Ti frames. One is large and the other is XL. I normally can ride XL frames but this one is just a tad tall at the top tube. Stand over is listed at 33". I can run 27.5" tires on it and it would be ok but it really is a bit big for me. It has never been ridden and has only had a headset pressed in to do a stand over mock up.
It looks like Lynskey took the MT29 and merged it's geometry with the Ridgeline 29. The Ridgeline has a 1 3/4" down tube where this frame has a 2" down tube. It is said to be more solid of a ride, due to the large down tube, but as we know with bikepacking, we load our bikes down.
I paid $800.00 for it and will let it go for that plus shipping or meet and exchange or local pick up. I live in NE Tennessee.
