My preference is a local, cash transaction.  I'm in Davis, Ca (95618) but am willing to meet anyone around San Francisco or Sacremento.  If you're able to pickup and pay cash the price is $1,175 and obviously no shipping charge.

2012 Salsa Chili Con Crosso

Size: 53cm (Effective Top Tube Length: 53.5cm)

Height Range: 5'7" - 5'11"

Price: $1,195+actual shipping

I really really hate to do this but up for sale is my nearly brand new Salsa Chili Con Crosso.  I've had the bike for less than 6 months and it's seen probably 400 miles in that time.  It was purchased new from Hampshire Bicycles in February.  I'm only selling it because I'm getting married in 2 weeks and my fiance just gave me my wedding gift --- a 2012 BH RX1, so unfortunately the Salsa is getting nudged out (even though I prefer the ride & geometry over the BH)

I've made the following upgrades to the bike:

$22  - Woodman Deathgrip SLti Seatpost Clamp (12g (!))

$85  -Thomson Elite Seatpost

$45  - FSA Omega Compact Bars (42cm)

$35  - FSA 110mm x 6* Stem

$15  - Arundel Cork Bar Tape (Black)

=======

$202

Also included with the bike is a Custom Frame Bag made out of Water Resistant Dimension Polyant VX21 & Cordura 500D.  #8 Water Resistant Zippers all the way around.  This is a $165 bag and the wait time for one of these is typically 1-2 months.

$1,700   Bike

$202      Upgrades

$165      Custom Frame Bag

=============

$2,067 Total

ASKING  $1,195+actual shipping

The bike is super light coming in right around 18.5lbs.  It has a full carbon fork, 1.5" to 1.25" tapered steerer tube, BB30 bottom bracket (suuper stiff), 1x10 gearing and has replaceable dropouts that give you the option to run the bike as a single speed.

Incredible race machine, awesome gravel grinder, excellent commuter.  Super versatile and very comfortable.  I'll include a set of composite flat pedals for riding around town.

Build Details:

42t x 11-28t Gearing

28h 2x Wheelbuild on DT Swiss Rims

170mm Crankarms

110x6* Stem

42cm Bars
