Was wondering if there were any spare parts floating around that someone would want to donate (even loan?) for a good cause.
I'll be riding the GDR this summer to help bring awareness to a cause I'm pretty passionate about, human trafficking. I hiked the PCT last year for it, and thought taking on the GDR would be the next best step. Parts to flesh out my frame will be the most expensive part of my trip, and I was hoping someone here might have something to spare, or at least sell at a good price.
I'll be riding a handcrafted bamboo mountain bike frame, hoping to outfit it with the following:

[] Fork w/ shocks
[] Disc brakes
[] 20 tooth front chainring (?)
[] 40" flatscreen TV
[] clip in pedals
[] Derailler

My "dream list" is on my website, but I am more realistic than dreamy, and closer to the poverty line than I am to living in Trump Towers. Anything that will get me closer to the goal of actually getting on the trail in July would be incredibly helpful.
