https://tumbleweed.cc/ There are a number of things that make this bike unique, but principal among them is the design of the frame around a Rohloff rear hub with the ability to run fat tires. The 29er Dually Comp Velocity rims that this bike comes with can handle upto a 29 x 3.0? tires. Additionally, the frame and the eccentric bottom bracket enable you to run 27.5 and/or fat tire 26? rims, if you are so inclined.
The bike comes fully equipped for bikepacking. It includes a Porcelain Rocket frame bag that was designed specifically for the bike together with a ?Tumbleweed? mini pannier rack (
https://tumbleweed.cc/products/mini-pannier-rack). The bike also features a Schmidt SON Dynamo Hubs (3W) with which you can power lights (or charge usb devices). It also comes with a Koga Denham bar in a 710mm width
Additionally, since owning the bike I made the following set of upgrades to further improve the bike for regular mt. Bike riding
Mechanically the bike is in excellent condition with recently replaced chain and sprockets, brake pads and Maxxis Recon DHR tires. Cosmetically, the bike is ?very good? and I rate it that way only because there are scratches on the right side of the rear triangle and some signs of wear on the main triangle from carrying bags.
With regard to sizing, I?m 5?10? (short seamed and long torso) and the bike fits me perfectly. I?m not sure you?d want to be a whole lot shorter, but am confident it will work for folks up to 6? or more depending on proportions.
