Someone should post a review of the bags in the Gear Review section so that others are aware of these.  I wouldn't have seen them if I wasn't bored and looking over the entire site.

Well, I can't exactly review my own stuff......
But a couple weeks ago I did a couple hard days on the CT and it all worked.

Mismatched Dirty Girl Gaiters only comes out for the really big events.  Namely, this ride and the 2009 Lake City 50 Ultra run.

Got my first set of bags from Jeremy.  They arrived quicker than expected and were less expensive than all the other options I looked into.  He is really easy to deal with, even though I had no clue what I wanted.  Highly recommended if you are looking for bags.

I ordered a custom frame bag with a large top (gas tank) tube bag. I received them a few days before Christmas and my wife took them without me seeing them and wrapped them up for my Christmas presents. I've been like a little kid waiting for Christmas to see these bags and they did not disappoint. I had a few request from Jeremy and he got it right. Non-drive side big pocket with zipper for my bladder and a little pocket behind the bladder for misc. tools, drive side has two zipper compartments. Top Tube bag is large and fits perfect.
Jeremy was very easy to deal with thumbsup and we emailed a lot and talked a few times on the phone so he we would get it right, which we did. Can't wait to break them in.  headbang

For this summer I'll be sewing full time (between sophomore and junior years in mechanical engineering school) so plan on making a lot of seat bags, bar bags, and top tube bags, plus custom stuff.

So, tell all your friends to get custom from me but for delivery after May 15.

Stock items should last past summer and through the year, ready for quick delivery.

Until then, its weekend sewing as usual.

Thanks for your support of American engineering education domination.

Those all look great, Jeremy - How's your bar bag setup working? Take some more photos! I need to revise my bar bag setup. The slight bend bars I use cause hell with the brake levers and a bag tied to the bar. All I've been using is a compression bag, w/two 3/4" webbing! Smiley

lots of pictures here, also shows the development of items too over the last 2 years.

a bar bag from any of the usual suspects will be orders of magnitude better than a stuff sack strapped to your bars.
Details here:
http://cleavelandmountaineering.blogspot.com/p/bar-system.html
On a normal bar I can fill the thing up full of the whole sleep system, snacks, and quick access pouch items, and there's so little bounce I can ride hard (for me) singletrack with it.  On a Jones Loop Bar, there is practically zero bounce.

I've got a few bar bags ($75) and pouchless bar bags ($35) in stock now ready to ship!

Good luck to those Tour Divide riders crazy enough to ride my gear across the country - may your legs and zippers last as long as your thread!   glasses2

Here's a few teaser shots from over on the blog: www.cleavelandmountaineering.blogspot.com

I'm off to the mountains this week.  Nothing too crazy in the works, just some casual peak hikes... getting over a cold that caused me to miss the Salida Big Friggin Loop http://coloradoes.wordpress.com/swes-event-list/sbfl/
But I have an idea to more than make up for it...

The last THREE frame bags have been for Surly Trolls.... Like the Three Billy Goats Gruff, but backwards... 14", 16", and 18."

I have now had my framepack I think going on two years. Still is an amazing pack. Think it was one of the first ones and it works flawless. It has now been moved onto my Birking bike to hold my binoculars and guide book for easy access. Gonna need a new one for the new Niner.

Summer Sale!

Temporary price drops for summer, yes, all of summer:

Frame Bag base price $100

Seat Bag $90

Bar Bag $65

That's $10 off each of the big items, or a total of $30 off the full collection - that'll buy you a bit more trip food!
I have more time to sew in the summer than in the school year so may as well use it.
There's a few bar bags already in stock ready to ship out too!
Here's the latest:
16" Karate Monkey, map pocket, tapered and padded, hydration tube hole, bright orange lining.  Came out super nice.

Just want give to praise where praise is due.
I just finished up the CTR last week and was stoked on how well my seat and bar bags performed on the ride. Kept thing dry and orderly through the monster downpours and rugged high speed descents. The bags performed top notch. Jeremy makes a great product at a great price. I know I need him to make more bags for me I just need to figure out which ones.
Cleveland Mountaineering...no looking back. Literally, I strapped the bag on and forgot about it until i needed my bivi at the end of the night.
Thanks for the good product Jeremy.

I have about a years use on my frame, saddle, gas tank and sling that Jeremy sewed up for me. Just returned from the TNGA where the bags exceeded my expectations. I was using a geiger hydration bladder in the upper pocket of my frame bag and really swelled the bag out. It took all the punishment without issue. Jeremy's stuff is SWEET!!!!
