If anyone is looking for a great pair of shoes for bikepacking, I have for sale a pair of brand new Five Ten Freeride Pro non-spd bike shoes. I ended up with two pairs and just don't need two. These have the Stealth Dot sole, which is sticky but surprisingly durable. If you're curious about the walking ability of these shoes, I actually did a two-day backpacking (yes...walking) trip in Guatemala and climbed to volcanoes wearing these. With a full pack. They're pretty darn burly and ride great, but walk really well.
The MSRP is $150, but I'd be okay with $90 and I'll cover shipping.
These are 10.5 and I think they fit very true to size with normal width and a snug heal cup. Great shoes. I really love the pair I use. They're so good they actually converted me from SPD to flats for many rides.
