I saw a photo of someone who mounted their bike computer in the middle of their Profile Design Airstryke aerobars. I thought it was a great use of the empty space so I set about to do the same.
Main ingredients: 3/4" PVC pipe, 7/8 hole saw (with the drill bit removed), drill press, sandpaper, zip ties, cloth tape.
Click on any photo for a larger version...I used the drill press and the 7/8" hole saw to cut the PVC to the proper lengths. Sanded the edges and drilled holes at each end for zip ties.
Zip-tied it all together and wrapped with the cloth tape.
I really like how it turned out and will play with mounting lights and computer over the weekend.
