Made my own handlebar harness over the past couple days.  Used cordura 500 on the inside and 1000 on the outside.  Bought 2" ykk straps and clips, and made some loops using scrap cordura that I had laying around from my frame bag and gas tank project.  Overall I'm happy and would be happy to help or answer questions for people attempting to make their own.  this forum as been super helpful so I thought I'd try and pay it forward.  The harness can fit my seal line 10L or 20L bag.  By a stroke of pure luck the frame bag does not rub against my cables and sits perfectly.  I attempted to use these rubber plumber bushings to make the bag hang lower, but due to poor planning I realized that my absurdly large 2" ykk straps will not fit through the rubber piece, but it ended up working out non the less.

Very nice work !
Just wundering if you might need a fixation to the headtube to prevent the pack from shaking forth and back.

I'm going to load the bag down and hit the trails for a test run, but those 2" straps do a really good job of keeping the bag from going side to side, they sit really snug against my break lever "ends."  Will do an update shortly.
