SO I have never, ever been happy with GPS mounting. They always rotate one way or the other in rough terrain (at least in my case) and zip ties, hose clamps an rubber pads just irk me somehow. SO I came up with this aluminum piece over the weekend that provides a solid surface upon which to mount a ram cradle, and it flexes just enough so as to act as suspension of sorts. It attaches to handlebar and steerer tube. It weighs about 60g all in. I utilized a Supernova handlebar mount on the bar which I gleaned from ebay. The aluminum mount is 1/16" aluminum plate, shaped and drilled.

It feels "right" now and works well.

So anyone else that has been pissed off by gps mounts in the past, give it a go.

Yes I know the aerobars are pretty dorks but it is for TD....
