I just finished up a sweet standalone handlebar bag system last week for a friend. This is version 2 of this design for me and it came out pretty awesome this time around. It is fairly compact with a small diameter and not too wide, since it was designed for a friend doing mostly paved touring on a cross bike with drop handlebars. Features include:

-Unrolls out to 26" wide; smallest width rolled up is about 11" wide
-500D Cordura abrasion patch
-Bungee system on the front if used alone
-Removable 6"x11"x2.5" zippered pocket

I am definitely going to make one for myself (slightly larger for MTB setup) and am probably going to make a few. Hit me up if you'd like one.
